Which plan is right for me?
Send us the footage if you have a title to ship and no time to run an encoder. Choose Self serve if you publish often and want the pipeline on your own Mac. For volume pricing, revenue share, or a delivery pipeline built for your venue or device, talk to us about Contract.
How is Managed priced?
$199 per title covers the first 10 minutes of runtime. Every minute after that adds $8, and runtime is rounded up to the whole minute. For example, a 30-minute title is $359. Streaming to your audience is billed separately at $0.01 per minute.
What counts as one title?
One title is one master. Using the same encoded files on multiple compatible devices still counts as one title. A separate master for another language, frame rate, or a format required by a different device counts as a new title.
How does the free trial work?
The $99 monthly fee is waived for the first 14 days of your first subscription. A card is required to start. When the trial ends, the plan begins automatically unless you cancel first, and you can cancel anytime after that.
What does streaming cost?
$0.01 per minute streamed to your audience, on Managed and Self serve. For example, 1,000 minutes streamed in a month adds $10 to Self serve. If you only encode, streaming costs nothing.
What if I only need encoding?
Every plan works. Send us the footage and we return the files, or encode on your Mac and keep them. Hosting and streaming are optional.
Which formats and devices do you support?
Apple Immersive Video, Apple Projected Media Profile, VR180, VR360, and spatial video, from ProRes masters. We encode for Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest, Pico, and any spatial device. If you have a format to discuss or request, book a meeting.
Do I need a Mac?
Only for Self serve, which runs Amplium Encoder on your own Mac. Managed and Contract run on our side.
